DAVIS FURNITURE NEW ROOM FOR THE NEW FALL SEASON CONTEST
RULES
A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the offices of WCZX, Cumulus
Broadcasting, Inc., 2 Pendell Rd, Poughkeepsie NY, during normal business hours
Monday through Friday or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the
above address.
1. You must be 18 years of age or older and possess a VALID driver's license to
win.
2. An individual may win a major, on-going contest only once per six-month
period unless otherwise specifically stated. An individual may win other
seasonal or one-time contests only once for the duration of the contest.
3. The contest will begin on September 26, 2008 and end on October 09, 2008.
4. The grand prize will be $2000 of new furniture from Davis Furniture.
5. Listeners
qualify for the prize by being caller #9 to 845-454-9770 at a designated time.
Qualifiers receive a four pack of tickets to the Home Show at Gold’s Gym, Sports
& Entertainment Complex in Poughkeepsie for the weekend of the 17th
of October.
6. All State, Local, Federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees,
licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility
of the winner. All those who win a prize / prizes valued at over $600 will be
issued an IRS form 1099 to report their winnings. Winner is also responsible
for registration fees, as well as proof of insurance.
7. Prize is awarded “as is.” Gifts are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged.
8. The station shall not be responsible for the failure of participating sponsor
to deliver prizes as promised.
9. All entrants and winners agree that the station, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc.,
and their affiliates, shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for
any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by
entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or non-use of
any prize received.
10. The prize will be claimed in person at the station during regular business
hours and within ten business days of winning, excluding holidays. After such
time, ownership of said prize reverts back to the station to be disposed of at
their discretion. The winner then loses all claims and rights to said prize.
11. Proper identification must be presented to claim prize. Winner will be asked
to fill out a Winner’s Affidavit and Release.
12. All raffle entry blanks, forms, devices and materials, as well as all the
information contained on or within, gathered during the course of entry, shall
become the sole property of the station to be used, disposed of or destroyed at
the discretion of the station.
13. All entrants and winners agree that the station may broadcast or publish
their name, city of residence, photo, video tape, film or any other likeness,
including their voice, recorded or live, for any reason the station deems
necessary without compensation. All entrants further agree to hold the station
blameless and without liability for such publication, broadcast or use.
14. The station reserves the right to end the contest at any time without any
advanced notice to the public
15. The station reserves the right to limit the number of times an individual
may enter a contest or drawing.
16. The station reserves the right to require contestants to be present at
drawings in order to win their prize.
17. Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win any contest by fraud,
deception, or cheating shall be grounds for the station to disqualify that
individual from participating in all current and future contests and events at
the sole discretion of the station, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes
won by fraudulent means.
18. Employees of Cumulus Broadcasting and their immediate families, and
employees of the contest sponsors and their immediate families, are ineligible
to win.
19. A winner list may be obtained after October 10, 2008 by sending a
self-addressed stamped envelope to the following address:

Mix 97.7's General Contest Rules
At Mix 97.7, we we like to say “Thank You For Listening” by
giving away all kinds of cool free stuff!.... but the corporate
overlords do have some rules so that it’s fair for everyone.
All contest winners must be 18 years or older. Only one prize will
be awarded to an individual during any 30 day period. Once a prize has
been awarded, it will not be exchanged for another prize.
All Grand Prize winners are selected at random from valid entries.
There may be more than one method of entry for a qualify to win
contest.
All winners are required to show a valid form of ID to claim their
prize. Winners have 30 days to claim their prize. Mix 97.7 may request the
winner to sign a release form or tax forms.
Some prizes MUST be picked up at our main office on Pendell Road in
Poughkeepsie during normal business hours.
Some prizes are time sensitive, such as concert tickets. If these prizes are not claimed in time for the event, Mix 97.7
will not exchange them for another prize.
Any taxes, gratuities or additional expenses incurred by claiming
or using the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
Some contests may have special requirements, specifications or
other rules. Mix 97.7 management may substitute prizes based on
availability, cancel a contest or promotion or alter these rules at any
time. By calling our studio line
(454-9770), the listener grants Mix 97.7 permission to either air their call
live or record their call and play it back at a later time.
No purchase is required to enter or participate in contests on Mix
97.7 or at station appearances.
Decisions pertaining to contests made by Mix 97.7 management are final.
Employees of the Cumulus Media Group and their families, affiliated
companies, client sponsors and their families are not eligible to win
contests conducted by Mix 97.7.

Route 9-W to
the Mid Hudson Bridge
Coming across the bridge, stay in the right hand lane. Get on the ramp to Rt 9.
At end of ramp, bear left towards Route 9 NORTH/Hyde Park. Go to your second
traffic light and make a RIGHT onto Fulton Street. Take Fulton Steet all the way
to end (about a mile). At the end of Fulton, make a RIGHT onto Violet Ave/9-G.
Go straight to first traffic light and at that light make a LEFT onto Pendell
Road. Radio station is at foot of hill on right hand side.
From Northern Ulster County
(Kingston, Saugerties, Hurley, Woodstock, Lake Katrine, etc.)
Cross the Kingston-Rhinecliff
Bridge on Route 199.
Stay on 199 until you get to the second light, at Route 9-G.
Turn right on 9-G and go approximately 18 miles, through Hyde Park and toward
Poughkeepsie.
After you pass the traffic light at Cottage St. near the Mid-Hudson Psychiatric
Center and Dutchess Community College, continue for about one more mile until
you reach the traffic light at Pendell Road.
Turn left (you can only turn left) on Pendell and you'll se us at the bottom of
the hill.
From
Route 9 northbound, south of Poughkeepsie (Wappingers, Beacon, Fishkill, New
Hamburg, Chelsea, Castle Point, Cold Spring):
Turn right
on to Washington Street from Route 9 at the south end of Marist College.
Bear
right around Eckerd Drug Store.
When
you pass under the black rail road bridge, turn left onto Parker Avenue
(route 9-G)
At
the third traffic light, turn right (the only way you can turn) onto Pendell
Road
We're
at the bottom of the hill.
From Route 9 southbound,
north of Poughkeepsie (Hyde Park, Staatsburg)
Turn left on Fulton St.,
opposite the entrance to Marist College.
Take Fulton about 1.1 miles, all the way to its end at Violet Avenue (Route
9-G). Turn right.
Proceed four-tenths of a mile to the traffic light at Pendell Rd., and turn
left.
We're
at the bottom of the hill.
From Northwestern Dutchess
(Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Rhinecliff, Tivoli)
Take Route 9-G (Violet Ave.) through Hyde Park, all the way into Poughkeepsie
After you pass the traffic light at Cottage St. near the Mid-Hudson Psychiatric
Center and Dutchess Community College, continue for about one more mile until
you reach the traffic light at Pendell Road.
Turn left (you can only turn left) on Pendell and you'll se us at the bottom of
the hill.
From Pleasant Valley, eastern
Poughkeepsie, Millbrook and northeastern Dutchess
If necessary, take 44 into Poughkeepsie and merge with the 44/55 arterial. If
you're coming in from the Taconic Parkway, it's approximately 9 miles from the
parkway to the merge.
From the 44/55 arterial westbound, turn right on Innis Avenue (Route 115),
following the signs for Dutchess Community College
At the traffic light at the end of Innis, turn left. This is Smith St., although
there's no sign for it.
After about .3 miles, make the hairpin right turn onto Creek Road.
After about two-thirds of a mile, you will come to a traffic light and you'll
see the college to your left. Turn left at that light onto Pendell Rd.
Go up and over the hill and you'lll see us on the left at the bottom of the
hill.
From the Taconic Parkway in Northern Dutchess (Milan, Clinton Corners, Salt
Point)
Exit the parkway at Salt Point Turnpike, turning right at the end of the
exit ramp.
From the parkway, go about 11 miles until you reach the light at Innis Avenue,
at which you will bear right.
After about .3 miles, make the hairpin right turn onto Creek Road.
After about two-thirds of a mile, you will come to a traffic light and you'll
see the college to your left. Turn left at that light onto Pendell Rd.
Go up and over the hill and you'll see us on the left at the bottom of the hill.
From the Taconic Parkway in
Southern Dutchess (E. Fishkill, Hopewell Jct.)
Exit the parkway at Route 55 west.
Take Route 55 west all the way into Poughkeepsie and merge with the 44/55
arterial.
From the 44/55 arterial westbound, turn right on Innis Avenue (Route 115),
following the signs for Dutchess Community College
At the traffic light at the end of Innis, turn left. This is Smith St., although
